A Mighty Tee

Mighty

OK, I'm here to admit my geekery, as if it hasn't been obvious before. I love this t-shirt from Target. It's really soft and comfy, but also looks cute styled like I did above or with some leggings and a vest or jacket. I love pairing this faux-leather moto vest over it. There are so many ways to wear a cute graphic tee and dress it up or down.

Call Me

My hair is a little bit of a disaster in some of these, but I love my outfit so I had to take pics anyway. The Debbie Harry t-shirt and blue plaid skirt are both from Asos, the leggings are Philosophy (I got them at TJ Maxx), and the boots you can barely see are from DSW.

I think I like the outfit better with the shirt untucked.

Worth the Price

Guac

Well, I'm breaking a personal rule with this one. I haven't mentioned it before, but I don't want to post clothing that I could not personally buy based on size. This t-shirt came across my computer screen while I was poking around the Delia's going-out-of-business sale, and it was not available in any plus sizes. I don't believe any of their clothes are (hey, maybe that's why you're going out of business...). But it would be so easy to dupe this with a plain green tee and iron-on letters that I couldn't resist.

Pretty in Punk

Pretty in Punk

In case you didn't notice earlier, I love combining punk sensibilities with pretty and stylish things. This outfit does exactly that, nodding to my punk roots with the spikes and safety pins and plaid, while staying cute and incorporating nice high boots and a quilted backpack.

Noir et Blanc

Noir et Blanc

I recently bought a Kate Spade purse very similar to the one pictured here. It's the same stripe pattern, but a slightly different shape. I got a great deal on it through Hautelook. It's an awesome bag.

So I based an outfit around it. Normally I'm not too into random sayings on clothes -- make it a witty remark or a band name, sure, but not meaningless phrases -- but the more I see this H&M sweater, the more it grows on me. With the graphic type and the pattern of the bag, it made sense to keep everything else pretty simple.
